Exactly.
I think it is a distraction from all the things you mention and yet I can't help feeling that there is something even more, if that were at all possible. Maybe because I see those things so easily and clearly and wonder that it can't be *that* obvious.

The problem seems to me that most people fail to consider their existential relationship with others and the world around them. They simply adhere to some political or social viewpoint without any consideration as to the lack of any existential right to impose on others. Impositions are, of course, existentially unavoidable but no one seems in the slightest interested in contemplating the degree of their impositions, because their ideology justifies everything. For instance, while one might have trust in vaccination, it is a whole other step to force others to take it, violating their body sovereignty. I guess I feel that too many people have no checks and balances on the extent of their own tyranny, regardless of their specific beliefs.
